Please read these terms and conditions before making a booking with The Montessori Play Space groups and classes. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions were last amended on 16/05/2025.

 

1.  Booking Process

To book a place in any of our groups and classes, please book via our booking system and follow the online booking process. If you require any assistance with the booking process, please contact us at themontessoriplayspace@gmail.com.

2. Siblings

​

Younger siblings up to 12 months old can join their older siblings in the toddler and the preschool groups. Children older than12 months will require their own place to be booked should they wish to accompany their siblings to the toddler and pre school classes.

Sibling spaces are available for booking charged at a 50% discounted rate.

 

3.  Payment

Payment for our groups must be made in advance through our online booking system. Payment confirms your booking.

 

4. Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible by email.

Bookings are non refundable but we will do our best to accommodate an alternative session if we have space in another group. Please note that if another session is not available within a 3 week period from the original session then we will not be able to accommodate an alternative session.

 

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a Group session due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible via email and offer an alternative date or refund for the session cancelled by The Montessori Play Space.

5.  Refunds

Classes are non refundable in accordance with our cancellation policy (see point 4).

6.  Session Times

The Montessori Play Space classes run at specified times. Classes start and finish at their allocated times.

​

7.  Safety and Security

The safety and security of all children attending The Montessori Play Space groups is of paramount importance to us. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult who must remain with them at all times. We cannot take responsibility for the supervision of children. Children remain the responsibility of their Parent or Carer at all times.

If you or your child have had a sickness bug with vomiting or diarrhoea in the last 48 hours please do not attend the session.

​

If you or your child have a communicable illness such as chicken pox, measles, hand foot and mouth disease, croup, impetigo etc. We ask that you please do not attend the session in order to prevent the spread of illness to other children and parents/caregivers attending.

​

 Children can wear their shoes, be bare foot or in socks with grips on the soles in order to prevent slips and falls.

​

 We offer many different types of creative activities so children’s clothing may become messy, wet and possibly stained during messy activities or arts and crafts exploration. Bringing a spare change of clothes for your child is advisable.

8.  Conduct

We expect all attendees of The Montessori Play Space groups to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times. Any disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in you being asked to leave the session immediately and may result in future exclusion from our groups and classes.

​

The Montessori Play space groups are a safe and inclusive space for everyone. We have a zero-tolerance stance on discrimination. Incidents of discrimination will result in entry being refused.

9.  Liability

We do not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property arising out of attendance at our Groups except where such loss, damage, or injury is caused by our negligence or breach of these Terms.

10.  Photography and Filming

Photography of your own child is allowed during The Montessori Play space sessions. Customers are asked to only photograph their own child before, during and after the sessions within our venues. Customers should please ensure they take the privacy of other children, parents and staff attending the sessions into consideration when taking photographs.

 

Filming is not permitted at The Montessori Play space classes. If a parent or carer is found to film any part of our session they will be asked to delete the film and may be asked to leave the session. The reason for this is to protect the identity and privacy of other children and families attending the sessions.

11.  Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. We recommend that customers read the terms and conditions each time they make a new booking to ensure they are aware of our most up to date booking terms and conditions.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
